Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Botanio mobile application. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Botanio on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. Free features and Premium

The garden tracker, reminders and watering history are free without limits.
Free use includes 3 scans (identification or diagnosis).
Premium removes the scan limit and unlocks all care content.

3. Subscriptions

Premium is available as a weekly or yearly subscription, with a free trial as stated on the purchase screen before you confirm.
Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
You can cancel at any time in your store account settings. Cancelling does not refund the current period, but you keep Premium until it ends.
Prices shown in the app match the prices in the store for your region.
Store refund rules apply — refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us.

4. Advice and limitations

Botanio provides automated plant identification and general care information. Results are probabilistic and may be wrong, and care advice is general rather than specific to your exact conditions. The app is not a substitute for professional horticultural, veterinary or medical advice. Do not rely on it for decisions about toxic or edible plants — verify independently before consuming or handling any plant, especially around children and pets.

5. Acceptable use

Do not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app or its content.
Do not attempt to overload, scrape or abuse our service or that of our providers.
Do not use the app for unlawful purposes.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, change or discontinue features at any time, and may update these terms — the date at the top will change accordingly. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on identification or care results. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
